The Korg KPE-1 Entrancer is an effects box that processes both audio and video.
The interface is fun to use – it’s an xy touchpad that lights up and gives you immediate feedback on what you’re controlling. The feature that I like best is the sampler – it can hold audio/video samples in its internal memory that you can call up and manipulate at any time. Other than that, it has a few fun and useful effects, and a lot of cheesy/low-res looking ones. It is MIDI assignable and controllable.
