May 1 Reboot!

Many changes are afoot, my friends. In honor of CSS Reboot 2006, I am switching out the design on The Lava Flow, and closing VJTorrents.com.

Regarding VJTorrents, I loved the site – it provided glimpses into many different video styles, and provided great screening material for our monthly VJ Meetups here in Los Angeles. I believe there is an audience for high-quality video performance mixes, but the infrastructure of the site needed much work, and many more volunteers. I have closed it to focus on another project in the same vein – an online VJ training ground of sorts, with a videocast feed as its main output. This is perhaps a week away from launch, so I’ll spill the details once I’ve sorted them all out.
