
This only exists as a prototype at the moment, but it has a current ship date of “next quarter” and may cost “in the low $700 range”, according to Engadget. It currently has a resolution of 320×240, and uses a combination of LEDs and Lasers in what’s called an Advanced Spatial Light Modulator (ASLM). If the price point comes down in a year or two, this could be a great portable rehearsal monitor (toss in your laptop case) or preview screen.
