I was speaking with Surya the other day about a friend in LA who specializes in fine-art portrait photography and is looking to expand her business. If any La-va VJs are interested in having their portrait taken for a press kit, website, part of a resume, reel, or other promotional tool, I would recommend Sonia Paulino. She has a Masters in Fine Arts, and has taken many portraits of artists. She has very reasonable rates, and the portraits are much better than traditional Hollywood-style headshots.
